Happy Birthday Mike!

So, we get up at 4:15 am. Today is Mike's birthday so we wanted to take him to breakfast before his flight at 7 am. We went to Waffle House. I know, not very fancy but where else ya gonna go at such an early hour?
Took Mike to the airport and we were all pretty much verklempt. Trying not to lose it totally but very quiet and wet eyes and sad. Took a few last minute pics. We watched Mike go thru security and then wave to us at the end of the hall. Soooooooo sad!!!!!!
The rest of the day drug on and on and on and on. I had to run errands and answer emails I had put off while Mike was home. Michael had a basketball camp and a softball game that night, too. So, it was a very long day and we were busy. It was nice to go to bed, though, and have some relief from tiredness and sadness. :(
