Tuesday again...

Another busy day for me. Dropped off the boys and ran errands and cleaned house and just chilled out a bit. Oh, and I ran again. Another 5K. :)
Picked up the boys and we went to a music store to get Michael's guitar all fixed up. The guy in there restrung one of the strings that broke, tuned it, found a cable for the amp and plugged it in and started playing some Ted Nugent. It was really cool to see the expression on Michael's face to see his little guitar could sound so cool. He is itching to learn so I asked about lessons. I signed him up for 4 weeks of lessons. 1 day a week for 30 min. We'll try it for a month and see how it goes. I was a musician as a kid. I played trumpet from age 10 thru my 1st year of college. So, I am all gungho if my child wants to learn an instrument. I hope he likes it and sticks with it. And, maybe he'll teach me something!!! I DID teach him to play Old Mcdonald tonight - haha! :)
Nick had t-ball practice and both boys enjoy that. They got orange icees from Burger King afterwards then we came home and played some basketball in the driveway. While I was looking at my garden (the morning glories are about to bloom!), Michael spied a cicada hatching!. We took some pics of it. I've never seen one so fresh and green.
Another long day today but it's all good. :)
