Saturday

So, we got up this morning and it looked like nighttime - it was so dark. Actually, I got woke up at 6:30 am from thunder booming. I went back to sleep for a bit then got up for good as a continuous string of thunderstorms were coming thru. What a depressing morning, I have to say. Nick was supposed to have a t-ball game at 9 am but I knew w/o even checking that it would be cancelled. We spent the morning just being bored. The lightening and thunder were so bad we didn't want to have the tv or computer on so we played monopoly for a little bit. Then, I was so dang blue and bored I took a big ole nap. When I woke up, the sun was blazing which was cheerful. We got ready and went to our favorite Korean restaurant. The ladies that own it and work there are so friendly and they are so delighted that my boys love Korean food. It was nice to stop in and have a nice meal. We don't eat out much when Mike isn't here.
When we got home, I felt guilty that I had been lazy all day so I came up with the idea of the boys getting on their bikes (with helmets, of course) and me walking/running alongside Nick. We went my 5K route so I ended up jogging a lot of it. Nick was amazing. I knew he was getting tired but I tried only talking positive to him about it because I was afraid he'd poop out and start whining. At the end, I asked him how he felt and instead of complaining, he said, "I feel strong!!!" What a good attitude, huh? :)
When we got home, I spent a lot of time doing laundry and packing for our trip to Cincinnati tomorrow. Can't wait!
