My Project 365 Challenge Begins

Several days ago, I found a thread on the NaNoWriMo forums about Project 365. Since I have a camera and need an excuse to use it regularly, I decided to start my own Project 365 on New Year's. Nature cooperated beautifully by dumping a blanket of snow overnight on the Seattle area.

Then on the night of the 2nd, I was at my hometown's ferry terminal when I smelled diesel exhaust from all the buses that were leaving. When I saw the exhaust lit up by the street lights, I was overcome with the urge to get out my camera and take a picture.

And so my year-long odyssey begins...
