Fells Point Sunrise

City Pier, Fells Point Maryland. It was cold and windy - but there's nothing like sunup!

Looking towards Baltimore - I love the piling - and the industrial feel of this.

You have to get up early to catch the Tidepoint sign still lit.....

This is the ugly back end of city pier; so I decided that shooting into the sunrise to show off the tower might work!

We took lots of pictures in the direction of the marina, but I thought adding the foreground gave the picture the depth I wanted.

The sky and the refection in the water was spectacular (and cold!).

Decide to experiment with Photoframe since I had so many sunrise pictures.

The sun painted the city....

It did neat things to the ship - I like the repetition of the cranes and smoke stacks.

Thought the light was neat enough to break out the long zoom and snap a shot....

I must have a thing for old lamp posts.

Since this was the only still lit, i thought it would be neat to desaturate the picture --- oddly enough when I did - it seemed to leave the yellow -- well, yellow. And I like it....

Didn't post any pictures yesterday - even though I was sure I would. Knew I had the Fells Point Photo shoot today. And after 4 wind-whipped hours, I've got a ton of photos, thought I'd post a couple tonight - and get back to work first thing tomorrow and hopefully get a few more up tomorrow.
