They girl introduced, here a man can marry many girls, and also a girl is allowed to marry more than one men. Because in their culture, a family with more wealth means better fame. and people respect for that. So they dont want to devide their wealth bec of 2 brother married separately, and then for one girl to marry both brothers or even more brothers become normal.

I was a bit shocked...

for a man or a woman who has more than one women or men, when they have kids, always belong to the first wife or husband, for example, if the second wife has a kid, and will address the first wife mom and the real mom actually will call aunt or something...

People there do not hide their wealth, if they have some money would buy some expensive crystal or something else to decorate on their clothes to tell other poeple how rich they are, expecially for big occasional, they would dress those expensive clothes to worship their God. For example, when a guy has a golden tooth, he would smile a lot to let you see it...
