Like me!

My trophy is a kung fu guy chopping a grilled cheese sandwich. It was time to pass on the glory to another Pittsburgher.

Inspired by the legacy of victory I left behind in LA when I won 3rd prize in the Grilled Cheese Invitiational, I decided it was high time for Pittsburgh to have a chance at the glory. But the venue was very small on space and grill tops, so we changed the title to our favorite fat food: Mac-N-Cheese! On a very blizzardy March night in Lawrenceville, several brave souls showed up with wildly creative and delicious mac-n-cheese creations. And plenty of booze. Full and happy bellies were had by all. The winner, an amateur at best, was obviously overwhelmed by his spot in the limelight. If only you could have heard his gracious acceptance speech!
