Unfortunately this photo is a re-post, but it's all I could come up with for Theme Day. The photo was taken at Codrington, Victoria at our first "wind farm", in December 2001. Since then, there have been more wind farms either constructed or planned.
Here in Australia, we have fallen behind in using Natural Resources, as alternatives to existing electrical power generation, unlike many countries overseas, that have really grasped the new technology.

I like the lines of the windmills & the roads, with the dramatic sky behind. Windmills are very unpopular, because of their appearance, but I rarely here complaints about roads, buildings, or power lines. Not sure how I'd feel about one right on my skyline, but I find them quite interesting to look at rather than ugly. Cherax · 2007-09-05: 23:41
