Mystery Bay - Bermagui

2008.09.05
Place where we used to set-up our caravan, on cliff top at Mystery Bay.

Just one of the lovely views we had, close to what was our camp-site

Same view, just zoomed in, almost looks painted.

So many different strata types here around the cliffs at Mystery Bay

Performing, as seagulls always do. This was at Bermagui.

Much different rock type here at Bermagui.

We certainly picked our days, weather-wise. It was cold and grey.

The Bar at Bermagui

I was trying to capture this chap as he approached and landed on this light post, but was startled by a bark from the chap in the next frame.

There were 2 seals , least I think they are seals, as opposed to sea lions, warming themselves on the rocks not far from where we were having lunch, near the marina at Bermagui. It was a treat, I have never seen seals like this, apart from photos.

I don't think he really minded me being there, just a bark to let me know I in his space

"Blue Pool" at Bermagui.

Using Narooma as a base, we drove out each day, taking in some of the local sites and towns.
This day, we went to Mystery Bay, not far from the holiday park. A few years back, we had a caravan, and would camp at Mystery Bay, for a couple of weeks at a time. The camp site is hidden among the trees above the ocean.
After a visiting there, we drove down to Bermagui, a very busy fishing village and holiday spot.
