P365_31 Holywell Heritage Park
Yeeehaaah, I've survived my first month on this 365 day challenge! Many thanks to everyone for all of the encouragement.......
Today, I called into this heritage park and found some great subjects for a shoot, I will have to go back! The area is a terraced series of lakes and ponds used to drive the mills from a former industrial age. Today, there are the lakes and some pieces of old machinery in evidence, but the whole area is a haven for wild birds too. The butterfly piece is made of weathering steel which goes intentionally corroded and there are rich ochre colours evident.
