bad day for turk...

in the midst of my continued recovery from drunken rock band into the afternoon, i get a call from one of my friends. he crashed on his bike out in neah bay on the peninsula. turns out one of the corners on 112 was improperly labeled with warning signs, and it took him by surprise. his motorcycle ended up flying off a cliff and landing in a creek about 30 yards below. luckily for turk, he was caught by a tree no more than a few feet down from where he left the asphalt. he's okay, but he'll be sore for a couple days.

so we spent the rest of the day and most of the night/morning making our way back and forth to pick up turk and his demolished (seriously) bike. this is a shot of barry on the ferry (ooh! a rhyme!). please note the hungover expression, which was also mirrored off-camera by this particular photographer.
