seattle 100...

yesterday, after the triathlon, i ran over to pacific raceways to go work for brandon bones of studio819 at the seattle 100. for those not in the know, the seattle 100 is a big charity event involving the motorcycle community raising money for the nephcure foundation, who are dedicated to finding a cure for a kidney condition called nephrotic syndrome, which is often associated with children from birth.

i participated in this event back in '05, but i came back this year as a photographer. it was cool to see it from the sidelines and see how the racing community got together to raise more than $120,000. with the help of some racing stars like josh hayes, danny eslick, and jake holden (who my roommate got to ride with), it was definitely a successful event. hopefully, next year, they'll be able to raise even more.
