today was really just about sitting back and watching the race. couldn't help but pull out the camera and mess around while in the grandstands, though...
unfortunately, the 125cc and the motogp race both got red-flagged due to extreme weather conditions. 250cc didn't even get a chance to run. 60mph winds and torrential downpours seemed to be the leftovers of hurricane ike. it knocked down rows of bikes in the parking lot, took out a bunch of vendor tents and actually sent some people to the hospital (minor injuries). according to the racers and officials that was the worst weather that motogp's ever been conducted in.
here's to history-making.

What a wet mess...damn hurricane. Looks like there was plenty of room to spread out in the grandstands. I guess its a mega-big set of bleachers eh?
