saw this guy flying right over the freeway after we got out of los angeles. he wasn't more than 50 feet above the road when he crossed and landed here. looks like an apache.

apparently, 80° is winter for southern california. which is pretty much like summer if you're from the pacific northwest. feeling the warmth and seeing the sun after a long period of grey clouds does funny things to pnw'ers. i think smiling is one the side effects.
