New year at the shrine
2007.01.02
This shrine is Funabashi Daijingu and it's the second year I've been at New Year. Today, we took omamori (talisman) that we got from the shrine last year and returned them to be disposed of in a 'sacred' way. We also bought new ones to bring us luck in 2007. The shrine even sells fried chicken, I don't remember the CofE ever doing that.
Funabashi is in Chiba, Japan. Just east of Tokyo.
