Bossington Mill, just sth of Houghton.... on the main course of the River Test

"Houghton Bay".... on the main course of the River Test......... relatively shallow, allowing local farmers to 'ford' the river, its a favourite place for kids and families to enjoy an afternoons paddling and the like

Water Meadows of the Test
|
Park Stream.... running down to Horsebridge Mill.... this isnt in fact the Test itself but a large "loop" which runs off from the Test just south of Stockbridge all the way down on the eastern side of the valley just north of Romsey where it then rejoins the River Test.... between these two main water courses is what we call the Water Meadows

Test Way...a favourite cycle and rambling route.... what used to be a railway branchline running from Mottisfont in the south upto Fullerton nr. Andover and onwards....

looks to me like the perfect day for a ride! love shot 6..hehe..and the last one is just lovely. Is the bike getting thrown back into the garage or will you keep her out now?

Good for you!! I would have taken a rest after pumping up the tires!! Looks like a wonderful place to ride! So green!!

Wonderful set. These are my favourite sorts of places! The colours in your part of the world are just marvellous. Visitors down under are amazed at the colours we have here too. I guess it's the differences that make it seem fascinating. My bike is just too ashamed to go out right now, it's so grotty... Working on this to have it ready before the weather warms up here.
