Early Morning Light & Pond, Connecticut

Morning Mist on a Connecticut Pond. Sunrise.
Nikon D700, Nikon 16-35F4 VR @ 35mm. 1/8th second, F4.5, ISO 200 handheld w VR on. Singh-Ray Warming Polarizer. I cropped out the washed out sky at top of frame as it was too washed out and I couldn't recover the details. If it hadn't been that I was on the side of a one-lane road, almost at the entrance to a one-way, each way covered bridge I "should have" switched to a longer lens and isolated the tree shown in bright green at the far end of the pond... |
