As We Give Thanks this Year...

My Grandson Jacob couldn't wait to see his new mommy so he came 12 weeks early after Mommy's appendix had to come out. This was four hours after birth. July 7, 2010. Weight: 3lbs, 4 oz. Size: Tiny
It broke my heart everyday when I drove to the adjoining state to visit him. All that tape on his sensitive skin, all those wire, and tubes. If I could have swapped places with him I would have done it in the blink of an eye. |

A few days ago on Friday, November 19, 2010 I did some babysitting. Jake Has had so many checkups, and tests but EVERYTHING is functioning as it should! Eyes, ears, internals, coordination. A true fighter! Gooooo Jake!

This bring tears to my eyes Jorge...what a touching story. I'm so glad he is doing fine. He is truly a beautiful baby. I look forward to the day that I have a grandchild in the future :))

2 years ago, my grandson "did" the same thing. He was on oxygen for a long time,... but today thank G-d.... he will soon make an appearance on my blog. I wish your grandson the best!
