Coming April 20th....

One of several book covers I have coming out. This one shows up on bookshelves in your favorite store on April 20th. This is my advance copy. I have a second book cover (Secrets of Serenity) which uses my image as a wrap-around book cover coming out shortly thereafter, and several more in the pipeline. This one was cropped but hey, I get paid full price, and it's still a cover shot. Below, is the original image as it came out of the camera.
The publisher is already talking about a second printing... Keeping my fingers crossed.
Oh Yeah - the recipes inside are also delicious :)

Original Image. Early morning on a Main Pond, October 2007. Fuji Finepix S2 Pro, Raw File, Polarizer, Nikon 18-200VR, ISO 100, tripod, Cable Release. This is as it came out of the camera. Don't let anyone tell you that you need the latest and the greatest equipment to nail a money maker shot. Better equipment "helps" your vision, but, does not create your vision. That is yours alone.
The image on the book cover is the converted TIFF file I presented to the designers - they then cropped and did whatever they had to make it work for the cover.
