Camera? Lens? Processing? Doesn't matter. Read the text below...
For those local to Philadelphia you may have seen this automobile in the custom, high-performance tuner section at the Philadelphia International Auto show.

So on my way home Friday night I get a frantic call from a friend. He tells me his custom, carbon fiber covered, Genesis coupe, which is going to be in a weekend long car show at the shore on Saturday may be featured in a high performance import magazine spread. I think he said RIX magazine. Anyway, here it is it's 5:30p, rain clouds are rolling in again, I'm stuck in traffic on the Walt Whitman bridge, and we don't have much time.
I agree to meet. And of course the skies opened up and it just poured, and poured and poured some more for good measure. So we found an empty parking structure, and did the best we could on extremely short notice. I got home after 10PM and then the real work began. I had to make these lackluster images (for me anyway) look "exciting" to a magazine photo editor. Not only that, I had to have these images finished, as full-sized TIFF's, each at 300DPi ready for printing, and burned onto a CD, as the magazine editor wanted to take it back with them after seeing the Genesis at the car show.
I had to process these photos using almost every trick in my processing book in order to pump them up due to the conditions they were shot under, and the awful lighting found in a parking garage. I'm not thrilled with the end results, but considering what the originals looked like, I can't complain. Had I had a few days notice, even shooting in inclement weather, I felt I could have really produced better images.
I'm not going to bother listing any camera details. These "lemons" have been so heavily processed it really doesn't matter.
So finally, at 2:30AM as I'm about to drag myself off to bed, I dropped the CD in my mailbox for him to pickup on the way to the car show. Project Finished. Lemonade made!

lynnsgallery2 AWESOME!!! Super cool car...since conditions weren't good outside you chose a great location. I love the processing that you did...#2, 3, and 4 are fantastic!!! #2 has excellent texture...love the look of the payment and the car is at the perfect angle with right amount of shine :))
