I wanted the 1930's, Old Blues Band look to this young mans image. This is the shot I planned for BEFORE pressing the shutter. In other words I KNEW what I wantd the final product to look like. His buddies were jeering, and goofing off just behind me getting him to break up laughing. I waited until a serious moment before pressing the shutter a number of times in order to nail a good shot due to the low shutter speeds and no flash.

Every year I volunteer my time and services to shoot a local musical event. These shots are from last year-- This years event is coming up in a couple of weeks and I've been asked to come back. I can't wait!
