In Honor of the 50th Anniversary of the 24 Hours of Daytona Race...

I've never posted the max THIRTY images but in celebration of the 50th Running of the 24 Hours of Daytona in Daytona Beach Florida which is being aired on tv as I write this. It'll be on speedtv throughout the night, into tomorrows end. It is 24 hour race... I thought I would post some of last years action.
I had media credentials so I had access to stuff the public doesn't including the media center with --- in the heat--- cold drinks, water, breakfast, lunch and dinner being served 24 hours plus access to all the drivers. My seat was next to the ESPN crew which was pretty cool.

What's also awesome as part of the media is that when you are out on the back straights, away from everyone, the track management sends out small golf cart type trucks loaded with box lunches, and cold drinks, water, gatorade, etc. Just freakin' awesome the way media is treated!!

This year I couldn't make it as I"m setting up another business to compliment my existing photo company. But I expect to be back next year!!

Enjoying the track with the SPEEDTV Film crew. They were kind enough to let me share their stand as long as I ducked when the camera swept around towards me. LOL
