It might be a Tabebuia, also called Tecoma, trumpet tree, lapacho... they have several kinds of it, and different colors pink for exple. We also have the yellow one.

Yep, as jendayee says. I know it as "Guayacan", off course that's here in my region. The floor under the tree is spectacular when seen from far. You pictured my favorite tree around! Thanx
