I understand some folks not liking zoos. Animals in captivity ... hopefully we humans who visit can learn and apreciate the creatures we share the planet with. The San Diego Zoo is exceptional. Without breeding in Zoos, some animals would vanish.

Still a sad life for such an animal. This one might have been born in captivity and cannot survive on his own. I feel it is of our responsibility to try helping to protecting the areas where such species still live in freedom. Beautiful set and interesting subject
