A few participants from the Manasquan River canoe race. Its friendly competition as they complete a 6 mile paddle through the woods.
A great place to watch the paddlers is at this dam. The water level was not high but everyone gets anxious running the 2 ft. drop trying to stay dry. Look at the various techniques used and the facial expressions.

I think # 8 has the best technique ! And he looks quite relax. Obviously it is better to sit back...at the front ! I must say...I am giggling alone in front of my computer. It is very funny.

I love all the different expressions and body language. Different people do handle the same obstacles in life in different ways and with different attitudes, don't they?
