At the horse show

2006.10.31

I didn't know about it so I came with a short zoom. One should always carry both a wideangle and a telezoom! Well, could have been worse: I often use the 35mm macro lens (70mm short tele in 35mm film language) as my walk-about lens.

jorgen Thanks for your kind comments. It was a show where riders and their horses showed their talents to spanish music. Several used these lances as part of their performance. The lances were in the old days used to prod bulls in order to move them along. This shot is taken kneeling while shooting through a fence. The weather was, as you can see, lovely sunshine.
