Wow, both of these are great! I've never seen anything but a green praying mantis. I guess this guy blends in by looking like a plant stem. (When you view the first photo in large screen you can see that he was keeping an eye on you!)

Oh, I can get *very* close to it as the lens does 1:1 (i.e. the same as 2:1 on 35mm film). I'll post some real close stuff some time.

These guys put the chameleon to shame. They can camouflage extremely well.
