Not Exactly Cuddly

2007.04.23

but oddly cute somehow? At least compared to the other spiders, I have posted: pink spider, wolf spider and Jumping spiders. This one here is another jumping spider, seen from different angles.

UPDATE: This is a tiny spider, so small that I didn't know what it was, when I first saw it. I used a Olympus ZD 35mm macro at its closest: nearly 1:1 on the sensor (equivalent to 2:1 in 35mm film. Likewise the focal lens become equivalent to 70mm).

Although his body is small, it is intrepid and lovely.

dquixote Great shots. I would have to have the zoom to do anything close to this. I've had bad moments with spiders in places where I couldn't get away...I don't trust them...I don't like them...especially if they jump at me! I'm glad you can do this...it wouldn't be me!
