Sunday was Animal Festival in Oliva. The priest for the Sant Antoni Church first blessed the pigeons, which were then sent off (this photo is actually from 2006); he then blessed each animal in turn from his podium. The fiesta was originally meant for blessing the farm animals, but today mainly pets participate. This is my favourite festival.
