What a lucky family you have to owe such beauty! #'s 1 and 2 are just stunning. Not an eye sore at all as far as I'm concerned! Ive never seen a building demolished by burning it down. Is this a regular occurrence?

Tell me it isn't so! They burnt the old barn down? Terrible!!! I know someone who took the wood from an old barn, wood worked it and now there whole house has it for flooring! Did you take anything from the barn? I think the barn has much more character!!!

Our memories are one of the greatest gifts we have. I sat viewing these shots feeling sick in the pit of my stomach. There are many things I just don't understand about human beings. Shots #1 and #2 are gorgeous. I'm sorry for your loss of such a beautiful building which held so much.

Dramatic shots...glad you still have some good memories but that makes me sad to see these buildings that are such a part of our history just torched. Those first two shots are beautiful!
