A Black and White Day

Just called 'Cowboy', so original I know.

One I'm working on now. The only thing bad about ink is you have to work your mistakes into the picture. Or tear it up, say a few bad words and maybe start over.

I tried a few different things on a picture from yesterday trying to follow some tips from comments. PS3 is all new to me so I really don't know what I'm doing.
When I'm not taking pictures I like to do ink drawings to pass the time.

Had a job interview with 'Lifetouch Church Directories & Portraits' this evening. I'm looking for a differnt line of work and I want it to be in photography. I've been out from work for two months due to a shoulder injury. Work for DHL as a delivery driver with a rural route, 300+ miles a day. Sucks in the winter, great when it's nice out. That is how I found out where alot of old barns are.

That barn drawing is just wonderful. Your either very brave or very skilled or very patient (or maybe all 3?!) to throw yourself into ink like that.

Wow nice drawings........ I once had an art teacher say to me "your a photographer... how come you can't draw that shadow?" to which I wanted to reply why do you take such bad photos..... Eric you do both wonderfully. Keep it up and do post more of BOTH!

The ink drawings look wonderful—I've always enjoyed the contemplative nature of drawing with pen and ink and can appreciate your skill. I like what you've done with the photo. Good luck finding the job you want.

I love to draw with ink too. I started to work on one drawing months ago, a pretty complicated one...Didn't finished it yet, but it's still on my table, waiting for inspiration.
You are very talented...that cowboy is fabulous. I'd love to see more.

Love the pen and ink drawing of the barn I go to weekly art classes and like using ink but am nowhere near as good as you. Hope you get that job.
