Cutting ties is never easy....some friendships start off all fun and games and then end up poisoning your life. Congrats for standing up to the "friend" and moving on to better things in life...Your daughter should be so very proud of you and YOU should be proud of you......heck Im proud of you!!.. hehehe LOVE that last shot!!! :)

The last one is very special. I heard that there are friends that come in and out of our lives to teach us something about ourselves. It is not a failure to say goodbye--it was just as valuable as if it lasted your whole life time--what you will take from that experience. I admire your self respect and courage. I'm sure it wasn't easy.

Easy does it. I said goodbye 18 years ago. If you ever need support, find someone with whom to share a cuppa joe. Or share a virtual cup of coffee with me. March 2? Great date! Excellent way to demonstrate this, too.
