Creative comparisons. The contrast between the first old postcard and the rather garish lighting in the second (nice night capture) is remarkable. Nice set!

Interesting these former(ancient) photos. I like particularly the ninth, the policemen are carefully align and rests(poses) for the photo but as often in the photos of this time(period) all the characters of the background also are to stop(arrest) and seem composed also.

The more I scrolled down the more I kept saying "wow"! These are just fantastic Eric. Love the vintage postcard from your late grandfather. #2, #3 and #4 are superb, I really must work on night shots! #6 is magnificent!! While #5 completely took my breath away, I saved it to my favorites, saved #6 too. ; ) Great comparative series.
