great bird. We have it here, I've even seen one in Prague, not far from the center...
That one has been caught in Warsaw, so we may say that they are city birds ;) In north district of Warsaw, by the Vistula river, there is a urban sewerage pipe. In winter water is warmer (don't freeze) and a lot of mallards stay there. White tailed eagles regularly flight to this area for a dinner :) |

Snipe is quite common in wet areas I believe. Crane is more and more common in Poland, I've found info that more than 5000 pairs have nests here and of course there is much more of them during spring and autumn passages. Ferruginous duck is rather rare indeed and I'm not 100% sure that this is it on my picture. What you think about it, what other species can it be?

1,3 a 5 maj takovou podivnou kompozici, jinak hezký
díky za úpřímnou kritiku, původně jsem chtěla poslat jen 1 a 2, asi by to bylo lepší.
4 nic moc - nějaký mázlý či co, žlutá se rozpíjí, jak to ty podběly často dělaj, snažil bych se i zaostřit jinam 2 je fakt super, už je v mejch favoritech :-) |

jé, to je dobrý. 1 je lepší, protože jsou tam vidět víc ty kořeny. (maličko tam teda ruší ten klacek vpravo nahoře, ale to už je fakt pididetail)
dík, taky mě zaujaly hlavně ty kořeny...bylo celkem obtížný dostat ze záběru všechny ty klacky a trávy na břehu a nespadnout při tom do vody, tak tenhle už mi přišel jako prkotina...šel by i oříznout, ale zase by bylo nahoře málo, tak ať si tam je... :-)

dobrá barvička, pěkný to je. jak by to vypadalo, kdyby se to trochu řízlo shora?
