Yay it was really great to see Sally. We had lunch in a funky little Mexican restaurant in Lyons. I think this is my favorite picture I've taken yet with the new rig. Either this or the pic of Emma on my first photoblog entry.

Today was my last wedding gig of the season. Hoo-ray. Glad that's over. On my way up to Estes Park I stopped in Lyons and had lunch with my dear friend Sally who I somehow haven't seen in about four years. I guess thats what you get for moving to Lyons, doll.
The wedding gig was at the Stanley hotel in Estes Park, which is famous for being the location where The Shining was filmed. I didn't take any shots of the hotel because its pretty big, and I don't have my wide angle lens yet; I would have had to drive across town to get far enough away shooting with my 80mm (equivalent) lens. :-P
