Day 9: Horses in Snow

I love Northwest Arkansas for many reasons. One of them is the quick accessibility of city and country landscapes. I often take highway 112 north simply to drive past all the countrysides and farms. It's beautiful.
Within a 1 mile radius of our house, there are dozens of horses. Every day I drive by them, I think, "I need to come photograph them!", but have never done so.
I took the opportunity today to go shoot some horses around the area. I found one group that was close to the fences. I'm sure I looked crazy and I stood there calling them over, petting them, and trying to brush their hair out of the way to make them more photogenic.

Hello John! These are wonderful photos! I love to play around with photography too, especially with horses....you live close to my sister's territory! Do you know Ken and Sue Coon? She's an artist in Mountain View and he's a professor in Little Rock..
