Day 37: PB&J, with Love

I come from a PB&J-lovin' lineage, as I watched my Dad eat one almost every day for lunch. I now eat them 2-3 times a week, as do my kids. PB&J's are just one of God's many gifts to us.

I'm single-parenting this weekend while my wife parties hard in Kansas City with some girlfriends. When I make lunch, specifically PB&J, I love doing it creatively! In celebration of Valentine's Day, I made heart-shaped PB&J's, with heart candy for dessert. Fun, eh? They sure thought so! That's picture #2.

Picture #1 represents one of my greatest joys in life: a freshly-opened jar of peanut butter! Sad, huh? The smell, the unruffled surface, and the beautiful potential of a freshly-opened jar of PB is simply remarkable! I'm so weird...

lgnelson John, did you cut the edges into heart shapes, or just nibble away until only a heart was left?

drohask Such a cute idea. The only thing missing is a glass of cold milk to help wash it down!
