Falling Waters River is a great place to find small waterfalls and tons of cascades. It's located between Jasper & Russellville off highway 7. The dirt road runs for 6 miles alongside the river with various stopping points along the way, including The Falling Waters Falls.

It's a fantastic old swimming hole. You can see the rope swings on the far side near the falls. There's also some old wooden ladder rungs nailed to the far tree so swingers & jumpers can easily get back up and continue having fun.

The second photo is taken from downstream a little with cascades in the foreground and the main waterfall at the far back.
