A few years ago we were flea market shopping and an older man was selling this cannon (pvc pipe on wood with old wagon wheels). Apparently he had it in his front yard but the homeowners association told him to get rid of it. He wanted over $150 for it, came down to $100, but that was it. We declined and began to walk away. My younger son, who has always made excellent deals at the flea market, began to sniffle, sob, then bawl (on purpose) and the man came down to $60. We paid $30 and make each boy chip in $15. It was a good investment. They've enjoyed shooting pop rockets out of it ever since.
