Rhodium Plating--you just learned a new concept

We took my wedding ring to the jeweler yesterday to get it rhodium plated. For those who don't know, there is technically no such thing as "white gold." White gold is yellow gold that has been through the rhodium plating process. The ring will eventually fade back to its original color, faster if you have more acidic hands (which I apparently have) and/or wash your hands frequently (which I do ALL the time because I'm a teacher). There are many other factors as well. My ring didn't look bad or anything--I just wanted it reaaal shiny :D

I LOVE white gold and I LOOOOVE my beautiful ring even more and wouldn't trade it for another :D

So I am ringless until around the 17th :(
