I MADE IT!

TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

I am SOO excited for summer! Today was the last day for my kiddos. I, on the other hand, have to work until the end of the month. I will miss them A LOT but it is definitely time for a break.

We had a fun last day of school! I planned an "awards ceremony" for the kids since my company thinks graduation is developmentally inappropriate. We set up and decorated the meeting room. It looked very festive! The kids were so cute at the ceremony! They talked nonstop through it though! I only had one cry and refuse to come up and get her certificate. We watched a slideshow, that I made, of pictures that I have taken throughout the school year, complete with effects and music. It was so funny to watch and listen to the kids comment on every picture and laugh hysterically for no reason. My 8 kids that are going to kindergarten next year wore caps without tassels (because "we don't support graduation"). They didn't care though, they were just happy they had something to play with on their heads.

I had two kids not even show up to school today. For the 17 kids that were there came parents, friends, and random people, except for one kid who didn't have anyone show up. He could care less though. He was too distracted by goodie bag that he got from us afterwards. All in all, it was great, PACKED with people, and loads of fun. Chance even came to school today to play and help out with the "awards ceremony!"

Good times, good times. I'll miss my sweethearts :/
