Chance and I randomly decided to go on a hike at one of the state parks near his parents' house. It was such a great day! Thankfully, the weather was near rain/cool.
I managed to capture an amazing picture of a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly!! We were just walking around (kind of lost!) and we saw this huge butterfly land on this flower right next to the path. We looked closer and (being the nerd I am) I immediately got so excited because I knew what it was and I had NEVER seen one before! The pictures of it came out reeeealllly good!
Annnnd I had my first encounter with a wild snake. That's right--I've NEVER seen one before (well, except at zoos) and, of course, it had to be a diamondback rattlesnake! I am VERY terrified of snakes, so you can imagine how interesting it was.

Dang! You take some awesome wildlife pictures. I love the ones of the butterfly!
I'm not too scared of snakes as long as they're domestic. That rattlesnake would've scared the begeezes outta me!
