Veteran's Day

2007.11.11

It's Veteran's Day--a time to think about all of those who have served our country and fought for our freedom. A time to remember those who sacrificed their own lives for this country. This day reminds me how thankful I am for my mom, who served in the military for 23 years. She was sent to Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War for about 9 months when I was in 1st grade. I am so thankful that she made it back safely. Others have not been as fortunate and my heart goes out to their families on this day.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAD/HAVE THE COURAGE TO SERVE AND FIGHT FOR US
