Wow, there's something 'unnatural' about flamingoes, I think. Can't put my finger on it, possibly because they look more prehistoric than many modern-day animals and birds. :)

They're so pretty, and the colors are great! Flamingos always remind me of the "fire gang" from the Labyrinth movie for some reason.

me too! when i was little we used to call my dog flamingo breath! haha everytime i see a flamingo i think of her :-) kinda gross but its funny

They're so gorgeous. I think if I had to choose to be a certain kind of bird, I'd be a flamingo =] haha. My mom has a thing for them too & has a big flamingo-random-object collection. I'll have to show her this post. Wonderful shots!
