Summit of Everest on left with Lhotse on right. Most of Everest is obscured by the ridge running from Lhotse to Nuptse.

Brilliant photos Richard, I can't see how you remember all the names though! Wonderful tribute to an amazing man who made a difference in life. Such a true adventurer, I still cannot believe that I have trekked the same trails that he once did. I love the saddle and the pearl..

Too bad for Sir Edmund Hillary atleast he got to be 88. You are a lucky guy indeed to be able to watch these wonders of the world. Its hard to get an idea how tall these mountains are but it must be an impressive sight.

I was about to say what pattyb said - How do you remember all those names?? When I went to Nepal people pointed out "There's such and such a mountain". I could never work out which one they were talking about due to so many mountain peaks. I was sad to hear about Sir Edmund's passing yesterday. Oh, BTW: Your photos are G-R-E-A-T!

The only way to view these mountains is in a state of awe. Your photos are magnificent. It is as if I am standing there and viewing these wonders. I love the way you've captured the contour lines of each mountain. Bravo.
