Stunning and beautiful! So they still use that same old rickety scaffolding that they used when I went there in '84! It is a wonder the buildings stay up. :))) They still sit on the ground to sell vegies, which is really sweet, but the cars are more modern. Never seen a letterbox like that before, really cute! Can't see any hippies - back when I went there were lots of left-over western hippies wandering around. I love Nepal!

The buildings in progress are kind of scarey. I don't think I really want to know how structurally sound they are or aren't! I love the letter box, and the bus in the last one.

These are wonderful, Richard. I love the Kodak moment in #4. ;) And I like the angle and focus in #2 with the passers-by. Seeing their wares for sale and the traffic gives us some idea of what life is like there. The buses seem cheery?

I like 4, 6 & 7 best. Each captures something of the colour and chaos of Kathmandu — but each is also strongly organized visually. A very nice compilation Rich.

I love the tail lights!! #7 is awesome and the letter box is a classic. I didn't trust dropping my cards in there though! Great capture of the organized chaos!
