Wheeler's as you approach - lots of nice snowgums here. Better if enlarged!

Wheeler's Hut is my favourite, and is one of about 80 historical huts/sheds in Kosciuszko National Park, S E Australia. Nowadays they are used mainly by walkers for shelter overnight especially in bad weather.
According to the Kosciuszko Huts Association website:
The hut was built by "Wingy" Wheeler for grazing, around 1900, and moved to the present site in the 1920's. He was known as Wingy because he had one arm, but could ride, smoke and crack a stock whip all at the same time, with that one arm.
Great shots...was surprised they are still in use, but could see where they would provide shelter from the elements. Thanks for sharing....very interesting.
Come back to see it again, it's so fascinating and attractive to me! Love this site and the hut so much! Thanks a lot to you Richard for sharing this beautiful shots...
