ME - done from a highschool photo. I wore Kaibab Indian moccasins. I flat wet-felted her clothes (mine was made from one of those India materials available back in the early 70's) and needlefelted them onto her body. She has a wire frame to support her. I dyed her hair from very dirty goat hair.

She's been in an art gallery and now at church. I periodically have to needle strands of her hair back on, or find her legs bent differently!

What needlefelting adds to the world of felting ... I love! A barbed needle, much like a straightened fish hook, pushes the wool fibers together and the more something is needled, the firmer it becomes. I teach needlefelting classes.
