This is our back deck. The chairs are covered. A statue on the table is covered. The three-rail high fence is almost covered.

Looking out our Keeping Room window to the northeast. The woods are lost in fog. The crabapple and lilac are 'waist' deep. A rabbit's made a trail below the window.

I've had to keep filling this feeder these three days as so many birds, including downy woodpeckers coming for food. This is a crabapple with it's trunk buried.

3rd day - 3 feet of snow! and it's mid April! and going to be 70 degrees come Tuesday. That's Spring in the Rockies! Our electricity went out after supper last night and came on this afternoon. I had pots of water ready and oil lamps, and have been melting snow on the cookstove, besides cooking on it. Monte had to chop more wood today, having to find it under the snow. It's still very foggy tonight, but it looks like the snow has stopped. Our neighbor is trying to plow us out - hard when it's so wet like concrete!
