I've had most of my cookbooks packed up for over a year ... seeing what I could live without ... looking up recipes on the internet. Monte built shelves over the freezers in the garage and we've been going through boxes reorganizing things. So now all my cookbooks are at my fingertips again, and I'm liking it. I missed them.

It is so hard to get rid of cookbooks, I love mine too and I keep buying more! My friends who don't cook just don't understand and they think I should give them away Sometimes I do forget which book has what recipe and just end up looking it up on the internet. Books in general are hard for me to get rid of and I often reread them. Giving them away is like giving away a friend.:-) Sandy Patterson · 2009-10-12: 22:24
